Bored, bored, bored, bored, bored!.

Sigh. As I drove in this morning, my brain convinced me it was a Friday. It's not. Just over halfway through the week, and the wait is killing me. I know it may end up being one giant anitclimax when we move, but I can't help it. I want in!!

Not too much too tell you today - well, quite a bit, but I can't be bothered with too much detail.

My brother Nathan and his girlfriend Jo are staying for a few days, while she takes some accountancy exams which are regionally based in Reading. Good luck Jo!

Had my pre-grading on Sunday. Wasn't too hot, but I got plenty sweaty in the 2 hours we spent jumping about like loonies. Too much stretching too early in the day took it's toll on my joints. My knees and hips as usual were the main agressors. I may have to invest in bionic legs.

We picked up the chairs for the garden set on Saturday. B&Q had about 12 or so in. 12! For the size of the store, that amount is laughable. We managed to grab some and get out without too much hassle. We even managed to avoid the nutter who keeps trying to give us a '3 billion percent interest' store card. He's a fanatic! Packed most of the remaining stuff in the flat, and it's now starting to look a little more organised and spartan. I'm dreading the move.

Had lunch with Darren, an old friend. Very nice to catch up. Shared stories of other peoples misfortune, which is always enjoyable. (Hello if you're reading this Daz).

3 days to go 'til the big day. Can't wait! Just found out that my American counterpart as work is away for the same week as me, so I won't have a work headache when I return. Things are looking good. Hopefully pick up the keys on Friday after work. Going to meet Jo at the house, and we're going to paint the living room straight away, and ditch all of the furniture we don't want for the council to take away. Great! We'll celebrate with an Indian takeaway, and a bottle of champagne that Nathan and Jo brought up for us.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Wahoo! :o)
