Have a leaving do of a friend of Jo's tonight. Andy is moving on to a new part of Thames Water. Ashbury I think. Then I'm meeting Gavin and James for lunch tomorrow. Should be... interesting...considering it's been a few years since we've all been in one room together.
Ho hum, only an hour and a bit 'til hometime. Must try to limit sentences like that or this blog will be full of 'em!.
Have just made Jo a blog member, so she can now pick apart and be pedantic about my comments ;o)
This page'll no doubt change over time. I'll try to integrate it into the main index page if I can, but will probably give up 10 seconds after starting. At least I got it to have an orange background!
So where are we? What's the latest?
Well lots actually. Jo and I had our offer accepted for a house we looked at. It's a 3 bedroom end of terrace in Basingstoke. Very nice it is too; Buckfast Close, a map of it is here. It's in a nice enough area, good links to Reading and Egham and close to the town centre. Jo and I can't wait!
The only current worry inducing thing is the mortgage. The jury's still out on that one. Should be ok, fingers crossed.
All going well we should be in for mid June, which co-incides nicely with summer.
I've always wanted to keep a diary, but have never been bothered enough to buy a paper one. Perhaps I'm just worried it'll one day be used against me as evidence :o) Hopefully this record will provide amusement in years to come. If nothing else it'll help me remember what I did with my time.
